Village History Exhibition

Over the 18th and 19th April the Village Hall will host a local exhibition – we would love to display pictures and information about all of the elements that make Brantham what it is. 250 years on: John Constable, the Man and his Landscape
Wednesday 27th May 7pm doors - Talk 7.30pm
Join one of the expert guides from the National Trust at Flatford for a talk marking 250 years since the birth of John Constable. Using well-known paintings and sketches, the talk explores Constable’s development as an artist and looks at Flatford today. Discover how his work grew from local landscapes to become internationally celebrated and iconic images of the English countryside. Tickets: £3.

June 2026 marks the 250th anniversary of artist John Constables birth and plans are underway for Brantham to be a part of the celebrations!

Garage Sale
Sunday 28th June
Want to take part in the Brantham garage sale but don’t have a driveway? We will be offering ‘pitches’ to hire for £8 outside the hall with all hire proceeds going to the garage sale fund. There will also be refreshments and most importantly toilets!
